About a decade ago, released Tokyo Tower BE@RBRICK Part 1.   Because its popularity, now,  1000 % (700 mm) is finally announced to be released.   The design is the same as Part 1, colored International Orange.   In front, it described Orange Color like Tokyo Tower.  And, back side, colored dark orange Tokyo Tower wit 60th Anniversary logo is printed.



・　Regarding BE@RBRICK


BE@RBRICK is the teddy bear doll which can move hand and foot, produced by MEDICOM TOY company.   This BE@RBRICK is known as Block Figure.
Teddy Bear is loved by people from all over the world.   This Teddy Bear
celebrated 100 the Anniversary in 2001.   The concept of "to make degital teddy bear", and then, BE@RBRICK was born in Japan.


There are 9 fundamental parts (head, arm, wrist, body, back and foot) are
all common on BE@RBRICK.   There are various items which images change with surface print.  The shape is lovely and humorous.  So, whatever printed it out on surface, you can be healed.  Many domestic and international artists, brand, TV, animation, movies, companies, etc... BE@RBRICK has been collaborated with them.  It will be fun for you, if you collect it.



・Tokyo Tower is one of the best tourist spot in Tokyo!!

The Tokyo Tower was built, just like a name, to send signal for TV and radio in Tokyo.  It is the total radio tower.   Tokyo Tower is abbreviation.  The official name is "Japan Radio Tower."  It was built in 1958 for land mark, symbol of Tokyo.  It is the one of the best tourist spot, and many visitors come there.

The hight 333m.   There are 2 Observatories spaces, on 125m and 223.55m.
The Tokyo Tower is colored by orange.  The BE@RBRICK is also printed
like that image.  Before Tokyo Skytree was built in 2012 which is the highest building in Japan now,  the Tokyo Tower was the highest building.  Tokyo Tower is run by Japan Radio Tower Corporation,  and they Supervised this BE@RBRICK.


・These two observation spots have many fun facilities.

One of observatory, bigger one on 125 m, it constructed two stories.
Usually, you can go to main floor by elevator, but on Saturdays and Sundays,
and Holidays, you can go by walking, using 509 stairs.  You can't change the elevator on the way.  So, only if you have confident enough to complete 509 stairs, you should try.  After going up with stairs, you will get "Official Climbing Stairs Certification".

For the 1st floor, there are two "look down windows".   This window is
160 cm x 60 cm size Tempered glass.  And you can see the down road.
If you stand there, you will see through down there.   Its allowance is up to
1.5t of weight.   But eventhough it is OK, if you look down, your feet tremble.
Other than that, on that  floor, there is concert space " club 333 stage" and
observatory cafe, " Cafe La Tuel".

For the 2nd floor, there is a shrine which is located in the highest place in Tokyo,
called "Tower Daijingu".  The God is Amaterasu Oonokami.
Especially, it is said that this shrine is good for  marriage and Academic fulfillment.
Now temporally, it is moved to Footownbuilding on the grand floor.

On 223.55m, there is Top deck.  This deck is left here, while Tokyo Tower
was constructing.  From there, you can see all Tokyo views.  If the weather
is goo, you can see Kanagawa, Saitam, Chiba area.  Also, you can see Mt. Fuji.
To go to the Top deck, you need to reserve from internet.

By the way, depending on the sources, it might express the height
as 150m and 250m.  This maybe showed not height, but above see level.



・ The beauty of lighting up Tokyo Tower.

Tokyo Tower is lighting up in the evening.  there are 2 kinds of lighting ups.
One is Land Mark Light.  And the other is Diamond view.

Toward Tokyo Tower, 180 lights shoot and emerge The Tokyo Tower.  For Land Mark Light, orange color basic, it is winter version.  Silver color basic,
it is summer version.

From Tokyo Tower, the light release to outside, it called Diamond view.  It is limited
only 8pm to 10pm, only 2 hours.  About 276 LED light, it changes 7 different
ways of lighting and shows various pattern of lighting up.

Depending on event or promotions, there are cases that light up pattern changes.
You can check the lighting up schedule on their home page.

Tokyo Skytree bet the height, but still, Tokyo Tower is the good for one of the best Tokyo sight seen spot.  Moreover, Tokyo Tower is now showing good place to spend a enjoying moment there. The Tokyo Tower and BE@RBRICK collaboration feels more closely by using black and orange color.  If you set this collaborate BE@RBRICK  in your room, it will be cool, because of Tokyo Tower.

For 25th Anniversary of Harajuku popular fashion brand "A BATHING APE(R)"
project, collaborated with Bearbrick, the MULTI COLOR BE@RBRICK emerges.

September 2018   "MULTI COLOR BE@RBRICK 1000%"   length 700mm
October 2018  "MULTI COLOR BE@RBRICK 400%"  length 280mm
October 2018  "MULTI COLOR BE@RBRICK 100%"  length 70mm
Above 3 items will be released.
Each parts uses different metalic color.  On its body, "A BATHING APE(R)"
logo is printed.   You can see Humoroustic BE@RBRICK , and its cool "A BATHING APE(R)".


・Regarding Bearbrick

Bearbrick is the product of Medicom Toy.   It is the doll which can move hand, and
foot, and called block style figure.   On 2001, 100 years of anniversary of Teddy Bear, BE@RBRICK was born in Japan, to make it as concept of "make a digital image of teddy bear."


There are 9 components for main body; (head, arm, wrist, body, hip, and foot)
is all common with Bearbrick.  It expanses only differences of surface print.
The shape is cute and humorous.  No matter which print you get, you will be
healed.  Many of Japanese, and oversea artists, brand, TV, animation, movie,
or corporation are having joint projecting .  So, there are many variations, and good for your correction.



Regarding A BATHING APE(R)

A BATHING APE(R) is mainly clothing, but they fashion brand, but also handing with music and foods.  The real name called  "A BATHING APE IN LUKEWARM WATER".   It means  A monkey soaked in lukewarm water.  The name sounds fun too.   The Bearbrick is printed APE for brand trade mark.
Also, there is a money character called milo, like animated.
As A BATHING APE(R) started as T-Shirts print design fashion brand, they are
interacting with oversea musicians.  For example, they made tour t-shirts for
Yuneria or Schadarabar.   Because of those famous musicians, A BATHING APE(R) name is spread all over the world.
Nowdays, A BATHING APE(R) is the most famous for "BACK HARAJUKU" fashion brand.



Regarding Back Harajuku Kei

Harajuku has been the city for youth.  Especially, Takeshita street has many
personal fashion shops.  Later on 1990s, not only Takeshita street or
Omotesando big streets, but also youth shops are opened on the more narrow street.   Those narrow street fashion shops emerged original fashion brand called
Back Harajuku kei, so called Ura Hara.   By the way, in Japanese, Ura Hara means back words.    Those Ura hara shops often do not have shop sign boards. 
Or they exist on basement of building.  So, it is not easy to find them.
And also, you can't see who is customer or shop staff.   That means, they are not eager to advertise for their shops.   Fans think that is cool.



Regarding A BATHING APE(R) item operation

Started on Back Harajuku fashion brand A BATHING APE(R), recently, they operate music company "APE SOUNDS(R)", "(B)APE SOUNDS(R)" and coffee shop
"BAPE CAFE!?".   And also, they make many joint project with many corporations.
For example, joint project with Sagami Rubber corporation is condoms, and
joint can bottle with Pepsi cola.  From 2002 through 2004, it was held
"BAPE STA!! PRO-WRESTLING" with ALL Japan Pro Wrestling.   In addition,
its activities are not only in Japan, but also all over the world.  There are
on line shops on the internet.

"NOWHERE", the shop located in Harajuku, Tokyo.
The immage ape of "NOWHERE" brand, "A BATHING APE(R)" is the one.
And more, it is 25th anniversary memorial item.

"A BATHING APE(R)" is the symbol of Harajuku street fashion, not only
within Japan, but recognized all over the world.
NIGO who is the brand established and leader of Harajuku fashion.
Not only fashion design, it is quite famous about relationship with
oversea artist, such as Pharrell William.  NIGO is the artist.
NIGO played with Promotion video Japanese version with Pharrell in his
famous song "Happy."  Also, they together established new brand called
"BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB(R)" and "ICE CREAM (TM)".

Its symbolic design icon is the "Ape head".
It reminds us "planet of ape" like 2 color design.
You can see and figure it out soon.
Once you see it, it will burn your head, because of its impact.
One color or colorful designs have harmony.
Especially, combat image to Camouflage color is very matched.
On April, 1993, "A BATHING APE(R)" is born.
In 2018, it is 25th Anniversary year.
The 25th Anniversary "A BATHING APE(R)" celebrating project is the 
"BAPE XXV Project."

"BAPE XXV 25th ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION" is the big event for
for this anniversary, will be held in Tokyo.
This BE@RBICK is crated from this project.

This is the item which is anniversary event item.
It is not just BE@RBRICK.
Its design is adhere in it.

The designer from Chicago named "HEBRU BRANTLEY" designed
its original character "FLYBOY".

"FLYBOY" means that just like name, flying boy.
He is wearing pilot goggle and active image boy character.

For more over this project, they are jointed with American shop
"SOCIAL STATUS".
"SOCIAL STATUS" is already had project with BE@RBRICK.
This joint collaboration works very well.  It mixed good chemical reactions.
In fact, "A BTHING APE(R)" and "SOCIAL STATUS" had been worked together
collaboration fashion items before.
"SHARK FUDY" is the one of that.


For this joint project collaboration, on face part of BE@RBRICK design is

green helmet and wearing yellow pilot goggle.  And on mouth, it designed like
shark mouth which reminds us American fighting jet "Special Shark Fudy".
And for its body design, BE@RBICK wears black fight jacket, like MA-1 jacket.
This is good matching for "FLYBOY" images.
On the back, "Ape head" and "FLYBOY" icon, and the logo is designed which
shows collaboration of  "A BATHING APE(R)" "HEBRU BRANTLEY", and
"SOCIAL STATUS" .   In addition, on right arm, the @, coming from
BE@RBICK, is designed.  They are adhered withing small details.

The special collaboration BE@RBRICK is started to selling at 
"BAPE XXV 25th ANNIVERSARY EXHITION" event venues.  There will be 3 sizes.

100 %  (length 70mm)
400%   (length 280mm)
1000%  (length 700mm)

100% standard is good, but 1000% has really presence.  
For collector item, 1000% is very awesome.
